Lest We Forget! Anzac Day journey - McLaren Vale, Moana Beach, Maslin Beach, Seaforth Beach, Port Noarlunga, Southport Beach and Christies Beach.

A very special day - ANZAC DAY! Thank you to all the men and women who served bravely and courageously so we can enjoy this beautiful country and our freedom! Thinking especially of our own mum and dads who put their own young lives at risk - we know today is important to them!

The Anzac Memorial at Port Noarlunga
We said goodbye to lovely McLaren Vale after having a look at Hardy's Tintara, Leconfield Wines owned by Dr David Hamilton, and Hugh Hamilton Wines - these families were instrumental pioneers in the McLaren Vale wine region.

Great cafe in McLaren Vale

The old railway line is now a walk/cycle way between McLaren vale and Willunga

A 6 km drive saw us at Moana Beach - back on the coast! South Australia has fantastic beaches! We drove up the coast road through Seaford and Port Noarlunga to Christies Beach! Another little haven! :)
We are perched on the hillside behind the Surf Club - another fantastic backyard!

We had a great walk along the esplanade walk/cycle path enjoying the views! Reminds us very much of Perth's foreshore and beaches!
