Around and about Port Fairy

We woke to a quiet morning after the wind howled itself breathless all night! It was a great day for walking and exploring, so that's what we did!

We started at the local Saturday Farmers, Arts and Crafts Markets in the market square and then wandered around more of the historic buildings and homes - 70 of them in this little village apparently! (promise I won't put 70 up on the blog! lol ) All the homes are beautifully restored and really well looked after - there is a lot of pride in the village's history.

We ended up at the Harbour and took the breakwall road across to Griffiths Island which we enjoyed circumnavigating!

There were a cast of thousands in town today, having descended on this lovely little village for Easter. What a great place to be!

Fishing proved to be the sport of the day today! :)
