Boys' day......girls' day........

Luke and Pete dropped Amanda and me off at the Hilton downtown this morning and they headed off to go through the pre-race routine.

Luke swam, they looked over parts of the course and then headed back to the Hilton for Luke to attend the Pro Meeting. We caught up with them briefly while they were lunching in the French Quarter before they headed back to the Brent House Hotel so Luke could put his legs up for a rest and do his pre-race organisation with all his race gear.

Amanda and I visited the K-Swiss Expo site before we headed into the French Quarter for lunch - beautiful buffet and a wine at "Court of Two Sisters"operating since 1832 - and afterwards Amanda visited the "Bottom of the Cup Tea Room", established in1929, to have a Tarot Card reading - something she has wanted to do for a long time after reading about this fascinating  place in a novel set in New Orleans!- all good for her and the future! - she came out very happy and all smiles! I've already lived part of my future - and it's all great!- so being all good with where I'm at I declined a reading for myself! lol Had a wonderful day with our beautiful daughter in-law- she's beautiful inside and out! xo

So we are all ready for the race tomorrow and the 4.30am start to be at the race start by 6am. The gun goes off at 7am and Lukey will be away!!! We'll be cheering hard! Very excited to see him racing here in the USA - something we've wanted to do for a long time but have always had work obligations! Retirement and freedom has great advantages!
