Hurried through Houston

After a feast of pancakes and maple syrup at the Chuck Wagon at the lovely San Antonia KOA we headed off for Houston.

As we are revisiting Houston for a week in May to cheer Luke on in IM Texas we skirted around the downtown area and headed to Lake Conroe in North Houston where we had a leisurely evening at their KOA - biggest camp ground we've stayed at yet! On our way there we stopped at "The Woodlands" which is also in North Houston to check out the IM Texas Course - a very nice area, a great venue and should prove an interesting course for the athletes!

The IM Texas swim finish shute - they swim
down the canal and exit at the grass at the front.
The canal connects to a large Lake (out of pic) where the majority of the swim
is tackled.

We are looking forward to returning to this city and its beautiful surrounds in May.
