Where have we been?...the amazing Noosa Heads on the Sunshine Coast!

We've been very quiet the past few months since returning from our fabulous Australian road trip. Even though we have been "blog" quiet we've had a great time enjoying life in Noosa Heads on the Sunshine Coast - house sitting! Love the Sunshine Coast and all it has to offer, particularly the stunning beaches, lots of beautiful National Park, fabulous towns and villages - each with their distinctive appeal, and of course all the great walks and hikes available depending on your mood! Each week saw us out and about with our good friends Carol and Nev clocking up the miles! -  followed by an obligatory coffee! Coolum, Marcus Beach, the Noosa National Park, Gympie Terrace at Noosaville, the beach walk from Perigian to Sunshine Beach, and the Caloundra coastal walk, where some of our favourites!

Beautiful Coolum - the coastal boardwalk and pathway south along the coast always takes your breath away!

Gympie Terrace at Noosaville and along to Tewantin Marina on the stunning Noosa River is always relaxing and offers not only great scenery but lovely shops and cafes.

The beach walk from Perigian Beach to Sunshine Beach is magic! Lunch at one of the great Cafes at Sunshine Beach is a delicious treat to top off a really lovely walk.

Caloundra, on the southern end of the Sunshine Coast, is very picturesque and walking the coastline there is fabulous! Some great action from the kite and windsurfers is always on offer! Some interesting history of the area also makes the walk interesting as well as picturesque.
