Sunrise heralded the beginning of this years adventure in Hawaii.

What an amazing sunrise! Certainly sets the mood and atmosphere for these special islands!

We caught the SpeediShuttle, very quick and convenient transport from the airport into Waikiki, to our hotel where a quick morning rest saw us rejuvenated, and it was out walking to savour this beautiful tropical area. First call as always was to Haagen-Dazs so Peter could enjoy his favourite Belgian Chocolate Shake - he likes to do an annual tasting just to see that standards are still high! lol Of course the shake passed with flying colours!

We thoroughly enjoyed our first day and night. Love the Hawaiian culture and way of life!
