The Nobbies

The sun begins to set casting its silver path across Western port
Waiting to greet his/her mate when they come in after sunset from their fishing adventure!
One guards the burrow/nest while the other goes to sea to fish - they take turns.
Quite a fuss and a lot of noise when they reunite - very special to witness!

Massive waves from Bass Strait crash onto the rocks at The Nobbies - spectacular sights and sounds!

Looking along the south coast of Phillip Island from the lookout at The Nobbies

And the massive waves continue to roll in!
Still waiting for his/her mate!
Driving along the cliff top in the Phillip Island Nature Reserve on our way to the Penguin Parade.
The late afternoon saw the wallabies and the Cape Baron geese out for a dinnertime feast!
and some more Little Penguins ever vigilant outside their burrows.

Waiting! Waiting! So cute!
