Never a dull moment! June -September

What a great place to house sit for 3 months! Sunshine Beach, Noosa Heads!

We’ve had a fabulous time soaking up the Sunshine Coast - drives, picnics,

hiking and lapping up the great winter weather! - the shorts and T-shirt kind!

We even had time to move house for Luke and Amanda! Yes move house! They had

the opportunity to move into a bigger unit and even though they were

still oversees they organised a removalist to come and pack up their house and us and

deposit us around the corner into a lovely 3 bedroom duplex - we call it the “Beach Shack”!

It will be a nice surprise for them to “see” their new house on their return home in October and they’ll enjoy having the extra room and great living and entertaining space! We had a nice time settling in there - gave us a little project.

Jac turned 28 in July, so we were off to Brisbane for a party to celebrate - had a wonderful afternoon and evening sailing on Moreton Bay , dining on the patio, followed by

music and marshmallows around the fire. A great time with her and her friends.

August saw us back in the shoes of “Managers”! We had a thoroughly enjoyable 2 weeks relieving our good friends Di and Graham at Palma Sereno on the Gold Coast while they cruised the Pacific for 9 days - a fabulous way to unwind from their first year in Management Rights! On one of our Sunday breaks we took the opportunity to have a trip

down memory lane and visited a lot of our old haunts and places where we’d lived on the Gold Coast. Can’t see us living permanently back on the Goldie any more so it was nice

remembering all the good times we had as a family there.

We’ve had a nice social time with dinners, and visitors coming up and enjoying Noosa and surrounds. Recently, we had a lovely weekend with Jac and Glenn who came up for Father’s Day, and a great week with Julie (Pete’s sister) and Ken when they were up on R & R from Sydney. Jac came up from Brisbane and spent a few days while they were here.

Walking, hiking and communing with nature! Easy to do here.........
