It was not only great to see the Australian animals, birds and reptiles but to see the wonderful work Zoos Victoria is doing to help fight the extinction of some of our native fauna and that they are promoting and educating visitors about what we can do to help preserve and care for the environment so we don't lose our unique flora and fauna.
We met a lot of the keepers as we visited the enclosures - they were very informative and only too happy to answer any questions.
