CRONULLA AND ITS BEACHES
Sydney has fantastic beaches - some of the best in the world - and the Cronulla Beaches in Sydney's southern suburbs are no exception. Many a pleasant day was spent here in my youth.
We picked my dad and Jean up, who were staying in "the Shire" (Sutherland Shire), and headed to the beach for a walk, then a great lunch and a catch up with my brother and his family. A great day!

Not much has changed in Cronulla - a new pedestrian mall in the main street and some new apartment blocks and perhaps a bit busier! Still the lovely seaside suburb of southern Sydney! The shoe store in the main street where I worked as a teenager was still going strong! A nice surprise!
