More fun in the sun!

Day 13 and 14 Wednesday 28th and Thursday 29th September, Kona, Hawaii

The fun in the sun continues!

Now the dove brings the whole family for breakfast!

The household at Alii Cove are all training, recovering, resting or working as we move into the week before the big race! Plus riding the Rukus's!

Day 10 and 11 Hawaii, Kona, Monday and Tuesday 26-27/09/2011

Another two more fabulous days in Kona. Great weather for lounging around the pool and enjoying the spa, having happy hour and watching sunsets.

Pete and Luke enjoyed a game of golf this afternoon at the Kona Country Club - dad's a good role model and teacher because the student managed to win by a few stokes! Thanks dad! Great afternoon of golf!

A fabulous weekend

Day 9 and 10 Hawaii, Kona, Saturday and Sunday 24-25/09/2011

What a great weekend!

Saturday morning saw Pete having a hard workout as “waterboy” on the Queen K with Luke and Crowie on their ride, followed by a run. He loved it!

Finally caught the ginger moggie visiting our yard. Sat there and stared at us through the back door for ages - very cute!

A pigeon/dove has also joined the morning parade!

An adventure to the Kona Cosco in the afternoon was a real eyeopener! Have never seen such a huge store with everything imaginable! A fun shop with Luke and Amanda!

We spent Saturday evening at a fabulous location enjoying a BBQ at Michael’s, a good friend of Like and Amanda’s. His home is on the side of the mountain and has an amazing view of the coastline. The sunset was a winner tonight with the famous “Green Flash” outdoing itself as the sun slipped below the horizon!
