Or are we in Surfers Paradise???
From Boone Hall we headed north up the cost to the famous beach holiday resort in South Carolina known as Myrtle Beach. We hit the first lot of heavy rain that we have experienced on our adventure as we neared Myrtle, so we didn't do much sightseeing and exploring that Friday evening.
Having a look around this morning we thought we had woken up in Surfers Paradise - there were many similarities. A strip along the beach of high rise hotels, motels, amusement arcades, shops, surf shops, cafes and Starbucks! A beach and tourist haven that many flock to and enjoy!
