A day of Rock an’ Rollin - the sea, the entertainment and our Wedding Anniversary celebrations!
The sea has been a bit rough so there has been quite a bit of rock and roll of the ship - not so bad that you fall over or feel sick but you get the staggers occasionally! Funny sensation!
Enjoyed a very relaxing day. Spent the morning jacuzzi-ing and baking on deck before enjoying the Captains Cocktail Party and watching the Art Auction in the afternoon - an interesting experience!
We celebrated our 34th Wedding Anniversary at Cagney’s Steakhouse Restaurant which was lovely - the staff presented us with an anniversary cake and serenaded us with “Let Me Call You Sweetheart” - very thoughtful! Brought a tear to my eye! Our 34 years together have seen us share some wonderful times and lots of interesting experiences, and of course it has given us wonderful children who are very special and have enriched our lives like nothing else can.
A great evening of entertainment followed. A talented husband and wife team, Jose and Patti, sang us through a fabulous trip down memory lane with their show “Flashback to the 60’s”. Later we continued on down memory lane with “Band on the Run”, the show for the evening, which featured The Norwegian Dawn’s very talented Production Cast, who presented a flashback and a tribute to the music and dance of the psychedelic 70’s.
Great day at sea!
